Bitcoin fell 3.0% over the past seven days to $77,329, while Ethereum held nearly flat at $2,504, up 0.5%, according to weekly price data. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index averaged 65 this week, marking a sharp recovery from the extreme fear readings of 8 recorded on March 26, per CoinMarketCap data. Bitcoin ETF inflows of $1.32 billion in March — the first monthly gain since October 2025, according to SoSoValue — gave institutional buyers a reason to step back in despite geopolitical risk from Iran and upcoming US employment data.
Filecoin led gainers with a 21.9% weekly rise, followed by Injective at 19.7% and Kava at 17.0%. The losses were concentrated in gaming and Layer 2 tokens: Ravencoin fell 26.3%, Arbitrum dropped 23.8% to $0.0929 — within 1% of its all-time low of $0.0883 — and Bonk slid 21.1%, per exchange price feeds. DeFi total value locked stood at $88.0 billion, down 19.2% from the January 1 reading of $117.4 billion, according to DefiLlama, even as Aave alone commands $42.34 billion of that total.
Watch Bitcoin's $75,000 support level next week; a break below opens the path to $65,000, which analysts at OSL Research flagged on March 30. Ethereum's Glamsterdam hard fork remains targeted for the first half of 2026, with developers tripling the gas limit to 200 million to reach 10,000 TPS. Solana processed 825.7 million transactions between March 16 and 22 — 44% of all crypto transactions — but its DApp revenue fell to $22 million, an 18-month low, according to KuCoin data.
