BTC dominance rose to 58.1%, up from 57.2% seven days ago. That move signals capital rotating out of altcoins, not confidence in Bitcoin. Ethereum bled harder: ETH dropped 3.7% to 2,103 over the same period. Solana lost just 0.7% to $85.65, making it the least-bad large cap.
NEAR was this week's outlier. The token gained 60.4% in seven days. Morpho added 30.5%. ZEC rose 29.4%. No single catalyst explains NEAR's move. On-chain data from Artemis shows NEAR daily active addresses jumped from 890,000 to 1.42 million between March 15 and March 22. ZEC's gain coincided with a 340% spike in shielded transaction volume, per Dune Analytics. Losers tell a clearer story: Chiliz fell 22.0%, Bitcoin Cash dropped 14.8%, and Arbitrum lost 10.5%.
